Where do I start.
Ryan and I are super shockxcited to announce we are gaining one crew member later this year!
I know the common questions that get asked so I’ll address some of those below and save you the trouble 
How old are you?
I’m 39, and will be 39 when baby is born. They now call me “advanced” at prenatal appts (which feels true bc I have always been.)
How old is Ryan?
He’s 38, and will be 39 when baby is born.
How far along?
We’re almost 12 weeks.
How are you feeling?
I have been off and on nauseas, it feels like I’m suddenly starving and need food or I’ll die 
then I overeat and feel nauseas and SUPER tired. But I’ve been able to nap a lot and that has been very helpful! And I feel like I’m turning the corner on that. But I haven’t been feeling good enough to workout for 3-4 weeks and I’ve definitely gained 10 lbs which is not a good start since NONE of that is the baby, mostly it’s ice cream.

Luke, Juliette, shock, then Juliette immediate excitement, after Luke warmed up to the idea, he asked if we could name him/her Vero or maybe after a planet. 
Levi, shock and excitement! Big brother status, unlocked!
Jackson= “oh nooo. 
No baby.”

How old are the other kids?
Lukas 15

Are you going to find out gender?
Heck yes, I can do a lot of unknowns but I have to know gender!
Are you hoping boy or girl?
Honestly either, if I have a boy it will be familiar and will completely mirror my childhood (5 girls one boy, 5 boys one girl)
Or if it’s a girl I will have another girl and Juliette gets a sister! Either is yay.
How did you tell Ryan?
“Heyyyy can we go out to dinner tonight?” And then at dinner, “let me show you this crazy picture.”…and handed him my phone with a pic of the +pregnancy stick. 
he took a second to process what he was looking at. He asked if this was for real. I said yes for real real. And he smirked and failed to suppress a grin. And then he applauded me, bc in the past I sometimes would just text him and then turn my phone off.

Nov 2, 2022, but I’ve never been early or on time so that doesn’t matter too much!
Ok I think those are the most FAQ… but if you must know something else and I feel comfortable sharing I will. 
I also want to just speak to my beautiful friends and family who are in the middle of an infertility to fertility journey, those who are public about their path and those that are quietly in the midst of either infertility or loss. My heart is for you to know how very loved and incredible you are, you are absolutely worthy of motherhood, and my prayer right now as you read this is for you to feel a swell of encouragement that God isn’t out of business, His timing is perfect and He knows your heart’s desires. I’m praying He reveal himself to those who need comfort peace and patience in this season.
